Pat Tillman Tribute- 1,000,000 expected to Download free song 'Bicycle'. It was composed by Sunstrum and Hadley. The site was created to honor Pat Tillman, a true American Folk Hero. ...
May 6, 2004 -- Richard Sunstrum and Glenn Hadley are music composers. Glen the virtual pianist, and I the guitarist and lyrical one. We always meet (3) times a week to work on our albums and movie sound tracks when the question came up to write this Tribute song for Pat Tillman.'Ya know, we really should write a song about him- hey, even if your not into football, this guy was a real insperation to everyone!' and so that was Glen talking. He convinced me to do the research and as I dug for a profile to this song, I became an admirer of this man- Pat Tillman. I read the positive press and the negative press, those believing we should look elsewhere for a Hero.
I think that people read to much into why people are the way they are. Perhaps being different is what sets everyone apart in this world. We follow those that set an example, set the pace, and give to society meaning and sense of purpose. There will always be opposing forces. That is life.
I on the other hand, let Pat Tillman attract me like a magnet as millions of others. His universe is sewn. He is destined to become what we all dream of our son's becoming, and know he is the adopted son of our choosing. I know that losing a son is the worst tragedy for a parent- and my sympathy goes out to his family. . Sunstrum and Hadley can only offer a song to help comfort the tide of Tillman believers to come. Pat would probably hated the concept of all this hype, but the world needs to know about every Pat Tillman, every Hero, every man lost fighting for his country, and every soul connected to the virtual plight of giving to society the best of themselves. We all regret losing a man like Pat Tillman. Perhaps the song 'Bicycle' is an overlay to Heros everywhere.. .
